Business Application Developers (B.A.D.) specializes in writing custom application software for business clients. We are located in Wasilla, Alaska, USA. BAD has worked with clients throughout the US and Europe providing high quality database design, programming and analysis, data architecture, software conversion, data conversion and custom software application services.
Business Application Developers has been in the IT Consulting business since 1990. BAD is based in Alaska, but has filled consulting roles in California, London UK, Stavanger Norway and Aberdeen Scotland. BAD's core business has been Designing and developing database applications.
Over the years, BAD's founder, Ken Farmer, has worked on mainframes, minicomputers, Unix workstations and Macintosh and IBM PCs. He has also written code in a diverse set of languages. Ken got his start in old 3GL languages such as COBOL and Fortran and up to Object Oriented languages such as C++, C .NET and java. In between he has written more VB based applications and spreadsheets than he cares to remember.
Ken has also worked on a wide variety of databases and data structures. He has worked with VSAM files, ADABAS, PACE, Total, Sybase, SQL Server, Oracle, Access and even DBASE.
